Design of an Ionic Conductor as Permanent Electrode for Monitoring Cathodic Protection System performance.

چکیده

The most dominant used method for protecting the bottom of a tank is impressing current cathodic protection (ICCP). Monitoring CP system critical to maintain and extend service life exterior storage tank. usually located on or near surface ground in contact with materials support so presents corrosion challenge. This work successful design an ionic conductor that can be as monitor procedure ICCP tanks bottom. new offers accurate efficient performance compared old copper/ copper sulphate electrode monitoring system. risks failure permanent electrodes including cables disconnection dryness are increasing. Ionic conductors were insure proper potential monitoring. scheme has features lower cost less installation time over conventional methods.
